When the laser cutting machine is running, people often wonder that the section is smooth when cutting is first started, but as time goes by, the section effect becomes worse and worse. What is the reason?
Long-term cutting can easily cause the cutting nozzle to overheat, causing abnormal capacitance values and deformation of the nozzle, resulting in unstable cutting such as good cutting at the beginning but incomplete cutting later, different cross-sections on the left and right, etc.
Reasons why the nozzle is hot:
1. The focus is misaligned, the laser is offset on the nozzle, and the temperature rises
2. The heat accumulated after the lens is contaminated is transferred to the nozzle
3. Nozzle quality problem and unqualified concentricity
4. Nozzle collision and deformation causing light blocking
5. Cutting high-reflective materials to reflect light
How to solve the problem of hot nozzle?
1. Hardware check
1. Check whether the side blow of the cutting head is turned on;
2. Check whether the cutting head is centered before cutting;
3. Is there any abnormality in the lower protective lens?
4. The nozzle may be incorrectly discolored or deformed;
If the lens or nozzle is abnormal, it needs to be replaced in time.
2. Process parameter adjustment
After the hardware check is OK, the cutting process parameters need to be fine-tuned.
If the above damage occurs or affects cutting during the cutting process, the nozzle should be replaced in time.
